Can an educational institution utilize educational software licenses for facilities use in the US and Canada?

The standard license agreements for versions of Autodesk products released in or after March 2013 do not permit facilities use under educational pricing. As a result, Education customers need to purchase commercial licenses for use of Autodesk software for facilities purposes. Facilities use generally means the use of software for purposes of designing, constructing and maintaining the educational institution?s campus physical structures and infrastructure.

To ease the transition of facilities customers from educational licensing to commercial licensing, Autodesk is offering a one-time 90% discount off the Autodesk suggested retail price to educational institutions (both public and private) on annual Desktop Subscription, an annual termed license plan, of either Autodesk® Building Design Suite or Autodesk® Infrastructure Design Suite until December 31, 2014. This transition and the related temporary discount offers facilities teams an opportunity to migrate to commercial desktop licenses at a discount through participating Autodesk Authorized Resellers . Contact your resellers or locate a new partner via the reseller locator website: www.autodesk.com/resellers/locate-a-reseller

There are no downloads available through the Campus Software Library. You MUST create an account through the Autodesk Education Community to download software through Autodesk.
